David Lambert and the band, Night Train, are well-known from the Blue Ridge to the Carolina coast for their distinctive brand of renegade, rocking country music. David’s debut CD, “By the Carolina Moon,” was released in mid 2007, and by October the single “Speed of Lonely” had earned him the 2007 EIA Male Country/Pop Vocalist of the Year in Nashville, and NBT Records also included the single “Rusty Tracks” on the popular “Ride the Train” series of CDs. David has played numerous venues on the Nashville Singer/Songwriter circuit, featured in the World Class Songwriter’s Showcase hosted by Colby Branson Forrester. He has had the privilege of sharing venues such as the legendary Nashville Palace and 12th & Porter with the likes of Martin Young, Jen Ketner, Keith Stegall, as well as many others in the industry. In David’s words, “Nashville is the singer/songwriter’s playground, a place to express true musicianship in the presence of those immersed in the art…” Celebrated singer/songwriter Herschel Lee Brown says of David’s songwriting: “He breaks all the rules, but it works!”
